It's amazing what can happen when people come together. The community came out to support our raffle, online auction, donations and to visit all 7 of our locations in full force.
The day culminated with a patient dinner hosting 50+ pancreatic cancer warriors, their caregivers and the medical rockstars from HonorHealth Research Institute. So many stories of hope, inspiration, and resilience were shared. The medical innovations and treatments on the horizon are groundbreaking to make this disease a chronic one and not automatically a death sentence.
Thank you to the Seena Magowitz Foundation for your dedication of making this journey so many are on, a journey that no one needs to do alone.
To our Babbo team, thank you for your endless hard work and passion. You are absolutely the very BEST there is and Ken would be so very proud of all of you!
Thank you to our sponsors β Memlane Inc, TrueNorth 42 Wealth Management, and Greco & Sons Inc β and vendors who donated items for auction. Without you none of this would be possible, but because of all of you we are able to honor Ken and make a difference.
Someday a cure, but for now we fight on for Days Like This!! βΎοΈππͺπΌ

Honoring a Legacy of Love and Generosity
Babbo has organized five "Baseball for Babbo Day of Giving" events, during which we have donated 100% of profits to the Seena Magowitz Foundation to fund pancreatic cancer research at HonorHealth Research Institute. These events serve as a loving tribute to the founder of Babbo Italian Eatery, Ken Pollack. Ken was a passionate baseball fan who lost his battle to pancreatic cancer in late 2022. Babbo means "Daddy" in Italian and Ken was that leading figure to his staff and loved ones. Ken lived by the philosophy, "if you give you will get, if you get you should give." Our annual Day of Giving is a way to honor his legacy and live by this shared value.
